Natal city is around 40 minutes away by car, and there you can visit the many shopping malls, or markets, or visit the town beaches.
The new airport planned for Natal, in the northern part, around 26 km from Maracajaú will reduce the travelling time from the old airport by around half. This is anticipated to be completed before the end of year 2011.
